How many times have we had the feeling be manipulated, of being led into a situation that we really didn’t even want to go to.
There are many reasons why we give in and many reasons why we manipulate. To wish approval, recognition, sales, avoid conflicts, deal with guilt, all of them mechanisms that can take us away from what we really want and what really benefits us.
But one of the keys to sustaining ourselves against manipulation is to be attentive to ourselves, With the calm enough to listen to us, attend us and respect our decisions.
