Guided meditation How to cultivate hope, that which sustains us in uncertainty
The psychologist Belén Colomina, an expert in mindfulness, explains in this guided meditation session how to grow our hope
We all have the ability to get excited and feel connected to the desire and belief to achieve what we want. But it is not always easy to connect to it. In our day to day, difficulties appear that block us, emotional afflictions that make us feel that we cannot face them. And right now, when the pandemic reminds us more than ever of the lack of certainty about our future, this feeling can be heightened by making us feel hopeless.
But we also have good news and that is that, together with everything, we can continue to build our future. And this is not creating a false illusion or expectation, but reconnecting with the present reality, from the acceptance and the connection with our inner fortress, with the illusion and the life engine of hope.
And in the meditation we can cultivate it, train it in our mind to integrate it into ourselves. Because disappointment and obstacles already appear by themselves, let’s build enough hope to continue believing in our dreams.
