There are many drugs available in pharmacies that have an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect, which are perfect for colds, abdominal pain, toothache, muscle pain, migraine or neuralgia. One of the most commonly used measures is Gripex control, which can be purchased without a prescription. What is Gripex control?
Gripex control is an over-the-counter medicine available at every pharmacy. It contains two active substances: paracetamol, which fights symptoms such as: muscle pain, toothache, headache, and menstrual pain. Additionally, paracetamol reduces elevated body temperature. The second component, i.e. caffeine, not only accelerates but also intensifies the effect of paracetamol, which increases the effect of the drug. Caffeine also improves concentration, reduces fatigue, and fights the effects of general breakdown.
Gripex control – application
Gripex control is a combined drug, which means that it has a double effect, in this case the agent works not only to relieve pain, but also to reduce fever. As for the dosage, Gripex control can be taken every 4 – 6 hours, 1 – 2 tablets in one dose. The number of tablets depends on the severity of the symptoms. The maximum number of doses of the drug per day is 8. Gripex control is very quickly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, and the maximum concentration in the blood is reached after an hour. When it comes to the action of the drug, it relieves pain for up to 6 hours, and antipyretic for up to 8 hours. Gripex control components are metabolized in the liver and completely excreted in the urine. Correct dosage is very important, only in accordance with the doctor’s instructions or the information contained in the drug leaflet, because too high doses may lead to an accumulation of an intermediate hepatotoxic metabolite, which, if too high, may even lead to liver damage. As for the second ingredient, which contains Gripex control, i.e. caffeine, it is also completely metabolized and excreted with the urine.
Gripex control works for various types of pains, including pains in joints, teeth, muscles, throat, pains during menstruation. It is recommended for postoperative patients. Gripex control can be taken in case of a fever, which is a symptom of a cold or flu.
