Grim bar opens in San Francisco – with rats

Rat Bar – this is the name of an institution that has recently opened in San Francisco (California, USA). Here visitors can have a drink while playing with pure domesticated rats, according to The Guardian. Guests are greeted by 6 rodents, each of which has its own name. They were brought to the bar from a local shelter and these rats can be taken home as pets.

But rats are not the only thing in the bar. This bar also features an interactive show about the city’s dark past. Guests are invited to watch an hour-long interactive show about the history of the city, including the times of the gold rush, gangs from Chinatown, the period of plague, as well as learn about the Alcatraz prison. Actors and special effects are involved in the show.

 

According to the idea of ​​the owners of the bar in this institution, guests should completely immerse themselves in the dark history of the city.
