Grilled chicken in the microwave: when guests are on the doorstep. Video
Chicken in the microwave cooks quickly and easily, and much more nutrients are stored in it than with other cooking methods. Grill aromatic and spicy chicken using the appropriate technique, or bake the poultry with potatoes and mushrooms in a conventional microwave.
Microwave fried chicken recipe
Ingredients: – 1 chicken up to 1 kg; – 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil; – 2 tbsp. l. lemon juice; – 1 tsp. salt; – 2 cloves of garlic; – 2 bay leaves; – 1/3 tsp. ground black pepper and turmeric; – 1 tsp. coriander; – 1 tsp. table mustard and honey.
Wash the chicken, pat dry with a paper towel, and trim off any excess skin. Combine vegetable oil, lemon juice and salt in one bowl. Crush the garlic in a special press and grind the bay leaf in a mortar or coffee grinder. Add these ingredients, black pepper, coriander, and turmeric to the prepared mixture. Stir it well to distribute the ingredients evenly, spread it over the chicken on all sides and leave to marinate for 45 minutes.
To prevent poultry legs from burning and spoiling the appearance of the dish, wrap them before frying with special microwave foil or cling film
Place the poultry soaked in aromas and flavors of spices on the lower rack of the microwave oven and grill and bake for 15 minutes at 800 watts. Then take it out and let cool for 10-15 minutes. Whisk the mustard and honey in a small cup and apply to the outside of the chicken for icing. Place it back up on the wire rack again and cook for another 40 minutes. After half of this time, turn the carcass over to the other side and generously pour over the juice that has accumulated in the pan.
Microwaved chicken with mushrooms and potatoes
Ingredients: – 2 large chicken legs; – 200 g of mushrooms (champignons, oyster mushrooms or forest); – 5 medium potatoes; – 1 tsp ground coriander; – 0,5 tsp curry; – 2 cloves of garlic; – 1 tsp. salt.
Rinse the legs, remove excess fat or skin if necessary and cut into legs and thighs. Combine half the salt, curry and coriander and rub the chicken pieces with this dry mixture. Place them in a glass microwave oven dish. Chop the garlic into small pieces and scatter over the poultry.
For this dish, you can take frozen mushrooms. It is better if they are already cut, then they can not be defrosted to the end.
Peel and cut the potatoes into thick circles, the mushrooms into beautiful longitudinal slices. Sprinkle both foods with the remaining salt and mix gently with your hands. Transfer them to a bowl with thighs and legs. Place the chicken and garnish dishes in the microwave and cover with the lid. Set a timer for 15 minutes and a power of 600 watts. During this time, interrupt cooking twice to pour the resulting sauce over the dish.
