Today (April 23) an action “Pine seedlings – in good hands” will take place in Moscow, where everyone can get a small tree for free.
On April 23, from 17.00 to 19.30, pine seedlings will be distributed at the Greenpeace Russia office: small, two-year-old, no more than 15-25 centimeters in size. How to plant a coniferous tree correctly is described in the instructions that will be attached to each tree.
Just keep in mind that pine is not a houseplant, and you cannot leave it in a flower pot. It makes sense to take a tree only if you can plant it in the same spring or autumn.
The distribution of seedlings is carried out within the framework of the Greenpeace project “Let’s Revive Our Forest”, which started 7 years ago. Children became the main participants in the project – during this time, more than 180 thousand seedlings have already been planted.
Attention! You cannot plant trees in the city without permission from the authorities. But no one bothers you to plant greenery on your own summer cottage, an abandoned quarry or a vacant lot outside the city.
