Almost nothing is known about Graude washing machines to ordinary consumers. The brand is presented as German, but there are suspicions that this is an “exaggeration”. Let’s see what this brand offers and who is its manufacturer.
Where is CMA Graude going?
Every German brand has a long, long history. It begins with how some Karl or Peter founded a workshop, then the company was sold several times, merged and, finally, was absorbed by a large concern. Graude has no such history.
Little is known about the brand. It appeared in Russia in 2016. And allegedly makes very, very good equipment. All. Nothing more is known about Graud. Consumers are divided over the country of origin.
Just a few arguments and facts:
- The brand has an official website in the German and Russian segments of the Internet. The sites do not contain stories about their own developments, there are no descriptions of the advantages of the manufactured equipment, there are no news about exhibitions and conferences. Here they just offer equipment for sale. Where is it made? Many consumers make a logical assumption – “in China of course».
- The trademark is registered in Germany at the address: Benekendorffstrasse 206, Berlin. But as eyewitnesses assure, here, on the outskirts of Berlin, there is only a small office with an answering machine. The owners of the brand are, presumably, in Russia. A German address is needed only for prestige.
- All German brands are known, and Graude is not among them. Here is their complete list: AEG и Honey, Thomas, Liebherr, Bosch и Siemens (BSH Group), Kärcher, Braun, Steba, Rommelsbacher, Küppersbusch and Teka, Bauknecht.
Overview of models and reviews
Under the Graude brand, only front-mounted built-in devices are produced. There are only a few models in the range, very similar to each other.
Graude EWA 60.0 – medium load
Built-in CMA with front loading. Type of control – electronic, there is a digital display. Built-in height – 82 cm. The tank is made of plastic.
- Capacity: 6 kg.
- Spin speed: 1200 rpm.
- Number of programs: 16 pcs. (including washing jeans, washing sportswear, washing program for mixed fabrics, super rinse, quick wash).
- Energy efficiency class: A++.
- Washing / spinning classes: A / B.

- Noise level (wash/spin): 57/74 dB.

The reviews left can be easily divided into two groups – real and laudatory. In the first there are a lot of sensible remarks, in which the close contact of consumers with technology is visible. The latter are full of general phrases – and it washes well, and the drum is super-duper, and even the powder tray is the cutest. Therefore, we will focus on constructive feedback, on the basis of which we will form an opinion about EWA 60.0.
The user, praising the washer in all respects, indicated in the shortcomings – “the spin speed is only 1200 rpm.” Absolutely ridiculous remark. This is a fairly high speed and why does the user care about the rpm? He should be concerned about the quality of the spin – how dry the laundry he takes out of the drum.
Pros:
- Lots of useful apps.
- “It works, and it’s already good,” one of the users ironically remarked.
Cons:
- The loading hatch is small.
- Bad build. The user confidently indicates “Chinese”.
- Loud noise.
- There are no official service centers.
- For embedded technology, it vibrates unacceptably strongly.
After analyzing the parameters of EWA 60.0, one of its owners found that this machine, being a complete analogue of models under the brands Midea, Hansa и Waissgauffsold at an inflated price. At the same time, the Midea brand does not hide the Chinese assembly, while Graude is modestly silent about this. The latter clearly misleads buyers by talking about “German quality”.
Graude EWTA 80.0 – with drying
Built-in CMA with side loading and intelligent control. This model has a drying time with 5 programs. There is a digital display. The built-in height is the same as the previous model – 82 cm. A delay timer is provided – for 24 hours.
- Capacity: 8 kg.
- Spin speed: 1400 rpm.
- Number of programs: 16 pcs. (including economy wash, baby wash, jeans wash, sportswear wash, quick wash).
- Energy efficiency class: A.
- Washing / spinning classes: A / B.
- Safety: full leak proof, child proof, unbalance and foam control.
- Noise level (wash/spin): 54/78 dB.
- Dimensions (WxDxH): 60x54x82 cm.
Users who bought this washer are not happy. They characterize it in almost the same way – “usual model”. One of the owners was faced with the problem of hanging the facade. The hinges, according to him, had a backlash, and the facade was not normally installed. A specialist who installs facades once a week said that this is the first time he has encountered such a problem. On this basis, the owner does not recommend buying this modification.
This machine has the same performance as the models of other brands, costing half the price.
Conclusions
Summing up:
- The German affiliation of the brand is questioned. The country in which Graude machines are assembled, according to consumers, is China.
- Since there are no official service centers, you will have to repair at your own expense – in the services of a “general” nature.
- CMA from Graude are 1,5-2 times more expensive than washing machines with similar parameters.
- The range of the brand is extremely limited – only 2-3 models are on sale. Several versions have already been discontinued.
It’s one thing when a person buys Chinese equipment, because it is cheaper than German or Korean counterparts. It is quite another thing to sell expensive cars that are not very good under the guise of “Germans”. Whether you take such a technique – decide for yourself.
