Grape “Victor” is rightfully in the top ten grape varieties. The early ripe hybrid, obtained by crossing the varieties “Talisman” and “Kishmish Radiant”, is very fond of winegrowers and is successfully grown in many farms.

Description of the grape variety “Victor”

As already mentioned, “Victor” refers to very early maturing table varieties. From the moment of awakening of the kidneys to full maturation, on average, 100-110 days pass. Already in early August, you can enjoy ripe berries. The variety is self-pollinated, since the flowers on the shoots are bisexual. It is recommended to cultivate grapes by cuttings, they quickly and easily take root in a new place. What the Victor grape variety looks like can be seen in the photo below.

The fruit of the Victor grape is well suited for making raisins.

Variety “Victor” is a fairly high-yielding variety. During the season, up to 8 kg of berries can be removed from the bush. In order to avoid a heavy load on the bushes, it is necessary to carry out rationing of the crop. For one shoot, you need to leave no more than 25 eyes

Bunches of grapes are medium friability. The berries are large, fleshy, cylindrical in shape. The taste of the fruit is pleasant, harmonious, with a slight sourness. The skin of the berries is dense and not prone to cracking, which ensures the safety of the crop during transportation. The color of the berries during the ripening process can change from pink to red.

The main characteristics of the grapes “Victor”

Bushes of the Victor variety are vigorous, with proper care and systematic feeding, they grow strongly, therefore, seedlings should be planted at a distance of at least 2 m from each other. The disadvantages of the variety include the fact that not only gardeners but also wasps love it. Special traps can help against attacks of winged predators.

Variety “Victor” is characterized by the following features:

  • the purpose of the variety is table;
  • bunch weight – 600-1000 g;
  • berry weight – 9-15 g;
  • the density of the bunch is average;
  • frost resistance is high, the bushes can withstand temperatures down to –25 ° C.

Experts note the high resistance of the plant to fungal diseases of plants, for example, gray rot, mildew, powdery mildew. According to indicators such as transportability, storage, presentation, the variety is considered one of the best. And its simplicity in care and the ability to easily take root allows to grow large yields not only for experienced gardeners, but also for beginners.
