The creators of Jupiter Kishmish table grapes are American scientists John R. Clark, James N. Moore from the University of Arkansas USA. To obtain a hybrid, Arkansas Selection 1258 x Arkansas Selection 1762 varieties were used as parents. The grapes of the new variety were created relatively recently, in 98 of the last century. In Our Country and Ukraine, sultanas of American selection came 12 years later.
There are no seeds in the interspecific hybrid variety Jupiter, the grapes have a lot of advantages, they retain their presentation during transportation. Methods of reproduction
Hybrid grapes Jupiter kishmish, created in the USA, can be obtained in many ways, even in an ordinary flower pot:
- Rooted cuttings or grafted seedlings.
It should be noted that the ripening of grapes obtained from root-bearing seedlings occurs earlier than grafted specimens.
- With the help of rootstock grafting.

Features of landing
You can plant Jupiter grape seedlings at any time, but autumn plantings are more successful. Care of grapes
There are no special rules for caring for the Jupiter variety, everything is traditional:

- In the spring, you need to make nitrogen-containing fertilizers to build up green mass. Then you will need a complex top dressing of sulfate, potassium monophosphate, magnesium sulfate. It is not recommended to overfeed the vine, the fattening plant develops worse.
- And of course, you can not do without pruning. It is performed in the fall, shortening the shoots of the Jupiter variety by 6-8 eyes.
- To prevent the grapes from getting sick, preventive treatment is performed: twice before flowering and once after it. Most often, experienced gardeners use Bordeaux liquid or Thanos or other fungicides.
- The last treatment is carried out with iron sulphate before laying the vines for the winter.
