Grape berries are not only aromatic and tasty, but also healthy. So, they are rich in vitamins of groups A, B and C, folic acid and antioxidants, which slow down the aging process of the body. Grapes are widely used in cosmetology, for example, they are used to make nourishing and moisturizing face masks.
Vitamins and other valuable elements that are present in grapes have a beneficial effect on any type of skin. Grape masks are a great helper in facial skin care.
To prepare masks from grapes at home, use berries crushed in a blender (in this case, the seeds are not recommended to be removed, since the components they contain are very useful for the skin) or freshly squeezed grape juice.
Nourishing grape face masks
For dry and normal skin, it is recommended to prepare a nutritional mixture consisting of the following components:
- 1 st. l. grape juice
- chicken egg yolk
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp any vegetable oil
- some oatmeal
The components are thoroughly mixed, after which the mixture is applied to the face with light massaging movements. After 3-5 minutes, another layer of this nourishing mask is applied to the skin and left for 13-15 minutes. The mask is washed off with cool boiled water or weak green tea.
If the skin is oily, a nourishing mask is prepared from the following components:
- 5-6 grapes
- 1 tbsp. l. low-fat kefir
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tbsp. l. floured oatmeal
The berries are mashed and mixed with the rest of the ingredients. Then the mixture is whipped with a mixer and applied to the skin for 8-10 minutes. This mask is washed off with cool boiled water.
For problem skin, a grape-lemon mixture is ideal (a few drops of lemon juice are added to a puree of 2-3 grapes). This mask is applied for 18-20 minutes
Grape Moisturizing Facial Mask
To moisturize the skin, it is recommended to apply a mask on it, which contains the following ingredients:
- chicken egg yolk
- 2 tbsp. l. grape puree (crushed berries)
- 1 tsp almond or olive oil
The mixture is applied to the skin and left for 18–20 minutes. This mask not only moisturizes the skin, but also smoothes wrinkles remarkably.
The maximum effect of such procedures will be only if the grape masks are done regularly, 2-3 times a week.
In addition, green grapes moisturize the skin well. It contains a huge amount of tannin, fruit acids and vitamins, so unripe berries also nourish the skin with valuable elements. Take a few berries, grind in mashed potatoes and apply on the face for 13-15 minutes.
An effective grape mask for tired skin
The recipe for this cosmetic is as follows:
- 1,5-2 tbsp. l. grapes chopped in puree
- 1,5-2 tbsp. l. curd
If there is no cottage cheese, it can be replaced with fatty homemade sour cream (you will need 1-1,5 tablespoons of this product). The components are mixed, then the gruel is applied to the face for 8-10 minutes. Wash off the mask with warm boiled water. The cosmetic prepared according to this recipe removes traces of skin fatigue, refreshes it, gives the face a beautiful color and even smoothes out wrinkles.
Grape seed oil for aging skin
It is recommended to mix grape seed oil with avocado oil or wheatgrass oil (2: 1 ratio) and apply to aging skin before bed.
