This is probably why she, without hesitation, mastered aerial gymnastics at the age of 75, and at 85 she became seriously interested in yoga.
“I hate to say that, but this is your chance … You don’t need space to stretch on your bed (of any size). Then you can move to the floor. 10 feet (3 meters. – Ed.) Is more than enough for yoga. In 3 days I will be already 97 years old, active and healthy person who may seem old to some. But for me this is just a large number. I can’t start the day without stretching and then 1 hour of yoga, ”Phyllis writes about the quarantine classes on her Instagram.
Three years ago 73 year old Joan MacDonald started training with weights. Then she complained of dizziness and arthritis and even took heart medications. Joana now works out five times a week for an hour and a half, including a warm-up and 15-minute cardio. And all this is under the online guidance of her daughter, who is a professional coach.
Joan also closely monitors her diet, which consists of five meals a day, and in the past year has become especially interested in meditation.
