The last call is an important stage of growing up, which draws a demarcation line between childhood and adulthood. That is why the graduates, their parents and teachers cannot hold back their tears at the farewell to the school. However, the act of these schoolchildren from Russia touched even people completely unfamiliar to them. They personally congratulated the teacher, who could not attend the last call, as she had recently become a mother.
The last bell in one of the schools in Gorno-Altaisk unexpectedly attracted the attention of a huge audience. The thing is that Russian schoolchildren found an unusual way to congratulate the teacher, who was unable to attend the festive event. A few days before the last call, the teacher became a mother.
After the official part of the event, the graduates went to the maternity hospital, where their teacher was lying. They gave her a bouquet through an open window on the first floor, after which they danced a waltz for her. The students filmed the congratulations on video and uploaded it to TikTok. “If the teacher could not come to the last call, then the last call will come to the teacher,” its author signed the video.

The act of the students touched the users of the application. In a couple of days, 14 million people watched the video, more than two million Russians rated the video with likes, and 20 thousand left comments, the vast majority of which were complimentary.

We get what we give, ”wrote enthusiastic users. Many commentators noted that the video made them cry.
According to the graduate, the teacher thanked the students for «the best gift in honor of her son’s birthday.» As seen in the video, the teacher stood by the window with a child in her arms, swaying to the music as the students danced the waltz.
The last bell is a traditional holiday of graduates. Usually the event is held at the end of May after graduation, but before the exams.
