More than three thousand people from all over the country took part in the qualifying round of the Candidates Debate project. They sent a variety of projects that they would like to implement, becoming deputies. Were there mercenary people among them? We will never know this, because only 30 participants with the most important social agendas made it to the face-to-face round.
For two months, they attended trainings and master classes, participated in debates, learned how to communicate with the press and voters, and defend their position with arguments. As a result, eight of the most persistent and gifted people reached the final, and the show itself gained more than 30 million views on YouTube.
The shooting of the final was recently completed in Moscow, the names of the winners who received huge cash prizes and the opportunity to participate in the elections to the State Duma from the New People party became known.

The two winners, Vitaly Katsko and Vladimir Alekseev, decided to spend their 20 million rubles in cash prizes on relocating a dilapidated house they visited in Kaluga.
The participants of the project learned about the problem of a collapsing building with a broken sewage system and various troubles political reality show “Debate Candidates”. Now the residents of the ill-fated house at 43 Valentina Nikitina Street have a chance to move in and start a new happy life. The idea to send money to charity and help people was also supported by the leader of the New People party.
“It seems to me that a living and burning heart, the ability to see and hear people, the ability to sacrifice and make difficult decisions are the most important qualities of a real politician. I don’t just support the decision made by the guys.
The New People Party will also see how it will be implemented, and will do everything possible so that the regional administration gets involved and starts resettling the entire hostel. Citizens of Russia in the XNUMXst century should not and will not live in inhuman conditions,” emphasizes Aleksey Nechaev, leader of the New People party.
