Adjust your diet to yourself, not yourself to your diet

You know this scenario: you start a diet, follow it all day, get up early to make sandwiches and salads, in the evenings you try to take time not to think about the fact that the family is eating pizza? Such a situation is not only tiring, but also carries a high risk of failure. Choose the method of small steps, change, improve, and do not forget about your favorite products. Look for diets and dietitians who will put you on the right track and not abandon your usual course of action. Menus with the possibility of replacing meals that you do not like or will not be possible to make will work perfectly here. 

Do not isolate yourself from the environment 

It is the person ordering fries with cola who should explain themselves, not you – caring for a healthy, valuable meal. More and more people stop hiding from the fact that they are slimming. It can even be said that diet is fashionable lately. And very well! Be firm and don’t get pulled over to the wrong side. Or maybe thanks to this you will convince your surroundings to a healthy lifestyle.

Clean cabinets and pantries

Remove any snacks you may be tempted with from your home. Fill cupboards and pantries with lentils, dried fruit, nuts and wholemeal pasta. Even if your ‘strong will’ fails, you will have no choice – you will reach for a healthy meal anyway, because you will not find anything else at home.

Find a person to exercise

Exercise is a perfect supplement to the diet. If you lack motivation, look for it in your husband, friend or neighbor. A little exercise will be useful to everyone, and it’s harder to cancel an appointment than to say to yourself, “I’m tired, I’ll let it go today”.

Set yourself realistic goals

Divide slimming down into stages, but real stages. Remember that a healthy diet should not lead to more than 1 kg of weight loss per week. Otherwise, the risk of giving up weight loss or the yo-yo effect after weight reduction increases drastically. Not to mention possible shortages.

Do not idealize weight loss

If you start to think that diet is nothing, a few weeks of eating a smaller dinner and a surefire success, you may be disappointed after the first day. You must know that losing weight is hard work, requiring self-denial and consistency in action.
