Goa trip: what you need to know?

The climate, food and lifestyle of Indians are radically different from what we are used to. So that your vacation in Goa does not turn out to be spoiled, take care of the important trifles before the trip.

“Accept that poisoning is part of your vacation,” tourists write on the forum on the Lonely Planet website. Not only are spicy food and an abundance of various spices unusual for our stomach, but also hygienic conditions in many cafes and restaurants India leave much to be desired. Therefore, before the trip, stock up on the basic set of medicines for the gastrointestinal tract: enzymes for digesting food (mizim or festal), a remedy for bloating (espumisan), a remedy for diarrhea (immodium or another analogue), activated charcoal or any other absorbent, on in case you do get poisoned.

In addition, be sure to take with you any antihistamine (antiallergic) drug that suits you. An allergic reaction can manifest itself to any unfamiliar spices, exotic fruits or vegetables, and seafood.

And of course, do not forget about the main medicines for any traveler: medicines for colds (acclimatization can seriously ruin your vacation) and for motion sickness (roads to India narrow and winding, so even a strong body can not stand).
