Glimbax is used to treat symptoms associated with inflammation of the lining of the mouth and throat. This condition can develop in the gums, mouth or throat. Glimbax also has pain-relieving properties after dental procedures or those related to trauma and mechanical irritation.

Glimbax – composition

The active substance of Glimbax is Diclofenacum. 1 ml of the preparation contains 0,74 mg of this substance. The auxiliary substances include:

  1. benzoesan soda;
  2. cochineal red;
  3. choline 50% solution;
  4. sorbitol;
  5. sodium edetate;
  6. acesulfame potassium;
  7. natural peach flavor;
  8. natural mint flavor;
  9. purified water.

Glimbax – contraindications

Glimbax should not be used in children under 14 years of age. It should also not be used by people who are hypersensitive to any component of Glimbax. Contraindication to the dosage of Glimbax is also allergy to acetylsalicylic acid, which could cause an asthma attack or allergic rhinitis.

Glimbax – side effects

No side effects of Glimbax were found in clinical trials. They can only appear with long-term use of the drug. They are associated with irritation of the oral mucosa causing burning and the appearance of coughing.

There are also cases of the development of hypersensitivity reactions. In this case, you should stop taking Glimbax and see a doctor who will change the medication you are taking to a different one.

Undesirable systemic effects may also occur during long-term use or ingestion of Glimbax.

Glimbax – dawkowanie

Glimbax should only be used for rinsing the mouth. The fluid is used 2-3 times a day. The oral cavity should be rinsed with 15 ml of the solution for each dose. Glimbax should not be diluted (possibly diluted with a small amount of water). To achieve the effect, you should rinse your mouth for at least one minute. Glimbax – precautions

It should be remembered that using Glimbax topically may develop hypersensitivity, especially in the case of long-term use. When this occurs, discontinue use and institute appropriate treatment if necessary.

Be careful not to get Glimbax in your eyes. The sodium benzoate it contains may irritate the mucous membranes. In contrast, cochineal red can cause allergies. There is also a possibility that the metabolites of Glimbax will accumulate in people who have severe kidney failure.

Consult your doctor about taking any medications while you are pregnant or breastfeeding. These reservations also apply to Glimbax. If we want to use it during pregnancy and breastfeeding, we should talk about it with a gynecologist or pharmacist.
