Glass for mixing cocktails

A glass for mixing cocktails is one of the most indispensable “friends” of any bartender. It is a glass with thick walls, which is used for making cocktails.

Typically, a mixing glass is the glass part of a Boston shaker. It prepares cocktails in which the ingredients are easily mixed together, and they do not need to be shaken.

There are also special mixing glasses, usually used by professional mixologists at competitions or in premium bars.

If it is necessary to prepare several identical cocktails at once, bartenders use a large mixing glass with a volume of 1 liter or more.
