The Chief Sanitary Inspectorate advises against traveling to six countries. It also advises that people who travel to Germany, France and Spain should be especially careful.

The list of countries where travel is currently not recommended includes:
- China,
- Hongkong,
- South Korea,
- Iran,
- Japan,
- Italy.
Sanepid also calls for special precautions and avoiding large clusters of people living in Germany, France and Spain.
The number of new infections in China has been declining in the past few days, but there is an upward trend in other parts of the world, especially in Europe. The largest number of COVID-19 cases in the old continent is currently in Italy (over 7), Germany (over 1), France (over 1,2), and Spain (673).
There are also cases in Great Britain, Switzerland, Ireland, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Austria, Belgium, Greece, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Belarus, Romania, in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Hungary and Ukraine.
In Poland, the first case of the new coronavirus was confirmed on Wednesday. The patient in whom he was detected is hospitalized in Zielona Góra; came from Germany. His condition is good.
As of Thursday, March 5, there were 95 confirmed cases worldwide. The death toll from the disease increased to 315, i.e. 3 compared to Wednesday’s figure. Deaths have been reported from: China (282), Italy (80), Iran (3014), South Korea (107), United States (92), deck of an international carrier (Japan – 35), Japan (11), France (6), Australia (6), Philippines (4), San Marino (2), Spain (1), Taiwan (1) and Thailand (1).
The virus is spread by airborne droplets. Symptoms of infection include fever, cough, shortness of breath, muscle pain and tiredness. Chest X-rays show the typical features of viral pneumonia with diffuse bilateral infiltrates.
