A survey conducted among thousands of women by Skinbliss cosmetics company showed that, on average, women spend 3276 hours, or 136 days, on makeup, hairstyle and clothing choices in their entire lives. Men spend 3 times less time on putting themselves in order – only 45 days in their entire life.
The survey also showed that 67% of women believe that this is a common routine. Only a third of the fair sex admitted that they enjoy running a marafet. Women usually spend half an hour bathing in the shower and doing their hair, then they devote 20 minutes to makeup and at least 15 minutes to women.
Moreover, there is some evidence of the differences between northern and southern women. The northerners spend a whole 146 minutes on “dressing up”, while the southerners are a little more economical: 117 minutes. At the same time, residents of northern countries like to go out more: 71% of women say that they visit society twice a weekend, and only 49% of southerners can boast of such a rich social life.
