Ginger tincture: 3 recipes at home

Dishes with the addition of ginger are 10 times tastier. And what to say about homemade tinctures? This is a real find for a gourmet.

To prepare homemade tincture, you can use vodka, diluted alcohol up to 40–45%, or good moonshine without a strong odor.

A classic recipe that does not have a sharp taste of alcohol, but only has a soft and aromatic aftertaste of ginger.

If you prefer a more concentrated product, then you should increase the amount of ginger to 75 grams.

The finished drink has a warming property and improves appetite.

Ingredients

  1. Ginger root – 50 g

  2. Vodka – 1 l

  3. Honey – 100 g

Method of preparation

  1. Ginger must be washed, peeled and grated or use a meat grinder.

  2. Then we put all the ingredients in a glass container, mix and leave for two weeks in a dark place at room temperature. Do not forget to shake the contents of the jar every couple of days.

  3. After 14 days, we filter the ginger tincture through a strainer, and then filter it.

  4. The finished drink is bottled.

  5. Store the tincture in a cool place for no more than two years. The fortress is about 36–38 degrees.

Aromatic express tincture of ginger on moonshine

This version of the tincture is prepared in just 15-20 minutes.

Ingredients

  1. Peeled ginger root – 20 g

  2. High-quality moonshine – 500 ml

  3. Honey – 1 tsp

  4. Salt – 1 pinch

  5. Lemon – 1 pcs.

Method of preparation

  1. First you need to prepare the lemon and ginger. Lemon – pour boiling water over, wipe dry, remove the zest and squeeze the juice of half a lemon. Ginger – rubbed on a fine grater.

  2. Transfer the zest, ginger and salt to a jar, mix.

  3. Add lemon juice and mix again.

  4. Now let the ginger-honey mixture brew for about 5 minutes.

  5. Then add honey and pour in the alcohol component. Close the lid, shake the contents of the container well and let stand for another 5 minutes.

  6. After the specified time, the finished tincture must be filtered, while squeezing the pulp well, and then filtered.

  7. Ginger drink is ready! You can start tasting.

Burning ginger tincture

The finished tincture is hot, but very tasty. It is best to drink the tincture with ice or homemade lemonade.

Ingredients

  1. Ginger root – 200 g

  2. Vodka – 1 l

  3. Granulated sugar – 480 g

  4. Water – 240 ml

Method of preparation

  1. Peel the ginger root and cut into thin strips.

  2. Then we transfer it to a saucepan, add sugar and pour in water. Cook until the ginger is soft.

  3. After cooling the ginger syrup, pour it into a glass container and pour in the vodka. Let the drink brew for about 30 days.

  4. A month later, we filter the finished ginger tincture and pass it through a purchased or home-made filter.
