Solar therapy
Chamomile is not only a wonderful flower that reminds of summer, but also a powerful natural immune stimulator. It destroys pathogenic bacteria, improves the functioning of the digestive system and removes harmful substances. And it will also help naughty children to fall asleep faster. Chamomile tea for children is the best sedative. It can be given to babies from 7 months. Pour 1 tsp of dried flowers with a glass of boiling water, insist for 10-15 minutes under a saucer, filter the drink and add honey to taste. By the way, anxious and capricious children can add 1-2 drops of chamomile oil to ordinary tea or a bath for bathing.
Mint heat
Mint has an amazing property: in summer it cools, and in winter it warms. Drinks with it serve as a good prevention of colds, improve brain function and increase appetite. So mint tea is shown to children like no other. To enhance the effect, you can add sea buckthorn to it. Grind 100 g of berries in a blender, put them in a teapot and pour 2 tablespoons of black tea. Add here 100 g of whole sea buckthorn berries, 3 sprigs of fresh mint, 2 tbsp. l. honey, pour 500 ml of hot (not boiling) water and insist for 10 minutes. Sea buckthorn can be replaced with dried fruits, and honey-with maple syrup. In any case, such a drink will be to the child’s taste.
Immunity in a glass
Echinacea has been known since ancient times as a cure for many ailments. Nowadays, it is used to strengthen the immune system. Doctors recommend tea with echinacea for children who catch colds more often than their peers. But you can only give it from the age of 3. To prepare a medicinal drink, pour 1 tbsp. l. of crushed leaves and roots of echinacea with a glass of boiling water, put it in a water bath for 15 minutes, then cool and filter. To prevent colds and flu, give your child half a glass of this drug 3 times a day before meals. To make it taste better, you can dilute the tea with fruit juice or berry compote.
Vitamin artillery
Vitamin teas from several components also increase the immune defense of the body. Especially if you include rosehip in their composition. It is a recognized champion in the content of vitamins C and A, antioxidants, organic acids, potassium, zinc and magnesium. For vitamin tea for children, we will need 1 tsp of crushed raspberry and black currant leaves, 8-10 berries of these plants and 1 tbsp of dried rose hips. Mix and lightly knead all the components, pour them 500 ml of boiling water in a thermos and insist for 3 hours. It is best to give this tea to the child every time after eating. And then the chances of catching a cold in the winter will be sharply reduced.

Ginger is a miraculous gift of nature, the healing properties of which are limitless. It has a restorative effect and tones the whole body. However, not everyone likes the burning spicy taste. Therefore, the recipe for ginger tea for children should be special. Peel 3-4 cm of ginger root from the dry skin, rub it on a fine grater, pour 500 ml of hot water, cook on low heat for 20 minutes, then filter. In hot tea, put a slice of orange and lemon, pour 30 ml of citrus juice. Especially capricious sweetmeats can be added 1-2 tsp.honey. But remember, it is not recommended to prepare such a drink for children before the age of two.
Milk delight
The English often drink tea with milk for a reason. The damp climate of the Foggy Albion only contributes to the spread of colds, while this drink protects against them best. Tea with milk for children can be slightly improved to make it richer and tastier. Pour 1 tablespoon of black leaf tea 750 ml of hot milk, add the zest of half an orange, 10 g of crushed almonds, ¼ tsp of cinnamon and two dried cloves. Cook the mixture for 3-5 minutes over low heat until the tea is completely dissolved and filtered. Add a little honey to taste, and this drink with a charming aroma will not refuse any child.
Baked bliss
The native Russian recipe for melted milk will also appeal to children. In the old days, it was stewed in the oven. Today, the easiest way to prepare melted milk for a child is in a slow cooker. Lubricate the pan of the slow cooker with butter, pour out a liter of milk, cover with an insert for steaming – this will not allow the milk to escape. We cook it in the “Quenching” mode for 4 hours. For the first 30 minutes, periodically open the lid and make sure that the milk does not boil out. At the end, you will need to remove the dense foam and strain the drink. The amazing smell of melted milk is sure to intrigue little gourmets, and they will drink it to the last drop.
