  1. Airplane toilets, which are used by passengers from all over the world, are hardly sterile places. In these conditions, it is easy to become infected with coli bacteria. According to the publication of one of the American magazines, the risk of infection is up to XNUMX times higher after traveling by plane compared to the daily probability of catching a cold. Researchers from the University of Florida argue that on the day of travel you should limit the amount of drinks you consume and do not forget about hand hygiene.
  2. The keyboard and office mouse collect not only the crumbs of stealthy snacks, but also bacteria or dust. This instrumentation is not very easy to clean, and perhaps this feature influenced the curiosity of researchers from a hospital in Chicago, who infected keyboards with antibiotic-resistant bacteria found in hospitals. While typical microbes became active after just an hour, stronger strains of bacteria persisted on the equipment for XNUMX hours.
  3. At first glance, no less dangerous habitats of germs than those mentioned in the previous point seem to be elevator buttons or intercoms. The same applies to the ATM, on the keypad of which the flu virus can remain for up to 14 days.
  4. On the handle of a basket intended for use by market customers, there can be about 11 million germs, including microbes present in meat.
  5. The city fountain is a bad idea to cool off during the day. The combination of the heat everywhere and the closed circuit creates favorable conditions for the survival of microbes. Every summer, the sanitary inspection finds cyanosis, parasite eggs, fungi, salmonella or coli bacteria in the samples taken. Let’s protect ourselves, especially the youngest, from this threat.
