Gdynia. The anti-vaccines shouted: you are the killers
As Małgorzata Pisarewicz, a spokeswoman for Pomeranian Hospitals, said, the incident took place on Saturday on one of Gdynia’s boulevards.
– A group of a dozen people gathered at the vaccine bus and shouted “You are the killers” and “You are Dr. Mengele’s children.” We have been vaccinating for nine months and this is the first time we have encountered such a situation. There were almost all women in the vaccine bus and they did not feel safe. The girls called the police, who came to the site and assisted during our work. We normally have an open door on the vaccine bus, and that day it had to be closed so that there would be no threat to medics and people willing to vaccinate – said Małgorzata Pisarewicz, adding that the anti-vaccine action had to be prepared in advance.
“There were no such situations”
– The places where we vaccinate are not a secret, because we make this information public. This weekend we were vaccinating in Sierakowice and Sulęczyn in Kashubia, but there were no such situations. We inform the police in advance and we have assistance if necessary. Firemen also help to keep an eye on vaccinations. We try to make everyone feel safe during vaccination – explained Pisarewicz.
In July, the Gdynia vaccine bus started running around Gdynia’s districts. Residents and tourists can choose whether they want to get vaccinated with Johnson & Johnson or Pfizer. No prior registration and appointment is required in the Vaccobus. All you need to do is choose a convenient date and location, and then go to the outdoor vaccination point.
A row in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. Kraska: I’m terrified of what happened
Recently, an incident involving anti-vaccines took place in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. At one of the vaccination centers there, a row broke out between a group of people who wanted to enter the facility and its employees. The police had to intervene and detained two people.

– I am terrified of what happened in the anti-vaccine campaign at the vaccination center. There will be no tolerance for such behavior because it is actually hitting those who want to vaccinate. I have always been ready to discuss substantive arguments, to convince people. But what has happened at the moment is a huge scandal, I think this should not happen anymore. If such situations arise, the services will certainly intervene in a very, very decisive manner – commented Deputy Minister Waldemar Kraska in Radio Jedynka.
Referring to these events, on July 27, Adam Niedzielski said: – We are already in such a place that it must be said openly: zero tolerance for such behavior. I am talking to the minister of the interior and administration and the minister of justice about taking decisive steps to tighten the state’s policy in the field of intolerance to such behavior.
