Gastronomic Murcia takes us into the magical world of the sea and its products
During 3 days it will be held in the Murcian town of Aguilas the Gastrotour, an encounter with fishing, the marine environment and with countless activities.
This first edition of spentr is organized by the newspaper “The truth” in collaboration with Águila City Councils.
Its dissemination and replications that are intended to be carried out in the coming months in different municipalities of the region, is carried out by the local council through the Tourist Competitiveness Plan ‘Águilas, el Mar y la Pesca’.
Among the proposals that will be carried out on March 20, 21 and 22, special relevance will be given to the “showcooking“, The workshops for the smallest of the house and for the adult public, the obligatory visit to the”Tapas street“.
For the occasion, the prices of snacks and their drinks have been closed, 2 euros for Tapas and 1 or 1,50 euros for beer or wine respectively.
Gastrotour Activities
The hotel establishments of the town that participate in the Tapas Street, will elaborate with their expertise, a selection of tapas to be able to savor during the celebrations where local products will occupy a prominent place such as the “Red shrimp”.
Pedro Pedreño will conduct the workshops “Minigourmet“, For the youngest, where they will cook mini-pizzas, hamburgers, colored breads and chocolate desserts.
Pablo González-Conejero from the Cabaña Buenavista Restaurant and José Álvarez of the La Costa Restaurant, they will be in charge of the presentations and entertain by cooking live in the multiple “showscooking”That have been programmed, such as the one for mussels and grilled vegetables.
