The Business Institute (IE) has developed a very innovative project related to nutrition and gastronomy.
In the framework of health benefits, The programs that will be developed will seek to promote healthy products in food consumption so that life runs along healthy paths, both personally and professionally.
Different activities will surround these programs that will be accompanied by educational workshops in the style of seminars and field work in pedagogical sessions, to get the participants involved in a good diet and a healthy life.
Characters of the stature of the chef Ferran Adria, from the doctor Valentin Fuster, from nutrition experts like Jose Mª Ordovas, or the president of the Royal Academy of Gastronomy Rafael Ansón.
The talent and creativity of these professionals will be present in IE’s classrooms to convey their commitment to the knowledge of how eating influences personal and professional life.
For a few years now, all experts in nutrition creating healthy habits and, above all, promoting education in nutrition.
The project will be supported by an online gastronomic community where students and teachers will share their experiences in daily eating, the creation of co-created recipes, elaborations, methodologies, etc …
The promotion of this collaborative activity will generate a transmission of knowledge and especially of experiences and benefits of the entire group of IE students, since the gastronomic community will also extend to the former students of the center, estimated at more than 50.000.
These new knowledge and experiences will be disseminated through selective workshops, y Executive Education programsIn this way, IE achieves that all its students learn not only marketing, commercial or labor management but also gastronomic culture and the well-being that it can generate.
The programs will be divided into specific modules of 4, 8 or 12 hours, which will complement the different “Master” y University degrees taught by the business school.
In this way, a culture of well-being and optimal levels of health will be implemented in the lives of all participants, becoming themselves transmitters of knowledge and health.
Gastronomy It is becoming increasingly important in today’s world and also in that of management and social responsibility in decision-making. Industry, distribution, commerce, restaurants and hotels or tourism are the engines of the national economy and therefore are a priority in order to conserve and increase them.
Tourism perfectly complements the “cult of gastronomy” and is the main source of income for many communities in our country, we also feed those 60 million tourists who visit us.
