Bites
Garlic in folk dishes appears as a first aid for bites and stings. Science confirms that garlic can actually be a help in these situations. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory effect, it can soothe the pain of a mosquito bite, but it seems to be more preventative. It is a great deterrent. People who consume a lot of garlic excrete small amounts of sulfur through sweat, which prevents insect bites. You can also lubricate the skin with a solution of water and garlic, or petroleum jelly mixed with garlic pressed through the press. There are already recommendations in ancient Egyptian papyri to use garlic to improve blood circulation. It is also recommended for heart disease in Ayurvedic medicine, and in sixteenth-century England it was recommended for puffiness. Currently, there is a lot of research work on the effect of garlic on improving blood circulation, thinning it, lowering cholesterol or blood pressure. In all these respects, garlic is successful. Interestingly, a Canadian study from 1980 indicates that the presence of garlic in the diet has a greater beneficial effect on the circulatory system than drinking wine.
Garlic relaxes the muscles of the blood vessels, which improves blood circulation. It also lowers cholesterol levels, as demonstrated by numerous clinical studies. Already a dose 1-2 cloves a day is able to lower cholesterol by 15 percent, which reduces the risk of a heart attack by 30 percent. Such treatment should be carried out regularly for a minimum of 3 months to be most effective. Moreover, regular consumption of garlic reduces blood clotting. It turns out that it works no worse than the popularly used aspirin. However, if you are already taking anticoagulant medications, you must consult your doctor before introducing garlic as a medicine.
Tumors
Hippocrates and Indian medicine doctors recommended it for internal use in cancer. In the case of Egyptian doctors, the recommendations were for external use. Modern medicine, in turn, the first reports on the anti-cancer effect of garlic came to us in 1958, when American researchers discovered that garlic inhibits the development of cancer cells. WHO (World Health Organization) and NCI (National Cancer Institute) indicate the potential anti-cancer effect of garlic. It seems to be particularly effective as a prophylaxis of gastrointestinal neoplasms. Although it is not a miracle anticancer drug, its regular consumption may prevent the development of stomach, pancreatic, esophagus, colon and breast cancer.
How does it protect? This is probably due to many factors. The vitamins and minerals it contains (including vitamin C and selenium) enhance the activity of NK cells (Natural Killers), and antioxidants protect against free radicals. Recent research also indicates its beneficial effect on increasing DNA repair, inducing cell death and slowing down cell multiplication.
Bacteria and fungi
Infections have been common use of garlic for centuries. It was used in antiquity, during World War I and II, and is still used today. It works effectively both internally and externally. It was used as a protection against gangrene and as a treatment for dysentery. In China and India, it was recommended as a remedy for cholera and as an antiseptic for cleansing wounds and ulcers.
Its antibacterial activity was first noticed by Louis Pasteur in 1858. He noted that the culture bacteria around the garlic juice were killed. Subsequent studies confirmed its antibacterial effect. It turns out to be extremely effective and has the advantage over antibiotics that it does not cause bacterial resistance. However, it works slowly, so it is important to take it regularly and for a long time. It is therefore not an appropriate treatment for acute life-threatening infections. However, it is perfect, for example, in the treatment of candidiasis. A 2009 study found that garlic reduces growth Candida ablicans.

Repeat the procedure 2-3 times a day. When coughing, take 2-3 teaspoons in the morning and evening.
