The shade of the cocktail resembles a red jacket – the talisman of Giuseppe Garibaldi and an indispensable element of his wardrobe during battles. According to one version, the leader wore a bright red jacket so that the enemies would not see his blood when he was wounded. According to the second, with a noticeable appearance, he showed that he was not afraid of death on the battlefield.
