Course of the game

This game actively reinforces the theoretical material that was proposed above in the Notes on the Field and concerns different ways of perceiving conflict and behavior in a crisis situation.

This task is different in terms of the type of work: it is individual, not group. The trainer should take care of creating a working atmosphere, enough space for comfortable and concentrated work of each participant in the training.

— We ask the members of the group to focus each on the actual conflict situation, which they themselves present at the present moment as a problem that needs to be solved. To understand the interpersonal conflict (it is this type of conflict that will be the material for work), it is necessary to clearly imagine what we are dealing with. Having drawn up a problem passport, we can develop ways to solve it. In addition, the answers to the questions posed will help determine what kind of directionality prevails in us. Psychologists say that there are three of them: focus on oneself, on other people and on the task (on the process or on the result).

So, each of the participants receives a form, 20-30 minutes are given to fill it out. At the end of the exercise, the group can come together and voice the problems of an emotional, intellectual or other nature that have emerged during the work on the assignment.

The form of the exercise «Passport of the problem»

Other side ____________

(Formulate what specific results are expected, what will be the emotional dominant in the feelings of both parties at the end of the conflict, how relations between the parties are predicted.)

6. I will be able to tell that the problem, the conflict is resolved when (if) _________________
