Further – more: 60% of Muscovites are obliged to be vaccinated against COVID-19

The situation with COVID-19 is getting worse every day. In the last 13 hours alone, 387 XNUMX cases of the disease were detected. The mayor of Moscow on his website accused the unwillingness of Russians to get vaccinated for the rapid spread of the coronavirus, and after that he issued a decree on the compulsory vaccination of certain categories of citizens in Moscow and the Moscow region.

The main category of citizens falling under the new order turned out to be service workers. Each employer must provide 60% of its employees with vaccinations if they work in one of these areas: trade, catering, public transport and taxis, education, healthcare, social protection, beauty salons and fitness clubs, laundries, dry cleaners, tailor shops, banking and postal departments, housing and communal services, cultural institutions and organizers of public events.

On behalf of Sergei Sobyanin, an information system will be created by July 1, 2021, with the help of which the government will be able to track the vaccination process of workers. In addition, control authorities and the Moscow Department of Health will provide support in the implementation of this decision.

The politician also recalled that 20 million people live in the capital alone, who can easily become infected by going to a store or going to a fitness club.

That is why, first of all, we need reliable protection from a dangerous disease, from the death of thousands of Muscovites. There is such protection, this is vaccination, ”Sobyanin said.

Recall that earlier, in order to curb the spread of coronavirus infection, the mayor of the capital decided to declare long non-working days off for Muscovites from 12 to 20 June. Earlier, the virologist answered the main questions about the coronavirus and told whether we should wait for the third wave and a new lockdown.
