The effectiveness of the Tilt fungicide is based on the duration of action, independence from weather conditions and the ability of the drug not only to heal the affected plants, but also to stimulate their development.
The drug in the form of a concentrated emulsion is sold in 5-liter canisters for use in large farms. Its variants are found in small packaging. Due to the belonging of the Tilt fungicide to hazard class 3, in Our Country it is prohibited for use in personal subsidiary plots.
Operating principle
The fungicide Tilt is based on the systemic pesticide propiconazole. When processing the culture, propiconazole, getting on the surface of plants, moves from leaves and stems to young shoots, moving from bottom to top. The work of the substance manifests itself after 2-3 hours. The entire plant will be protected by the fungicide in 12-24 hours. Under the influence of propiconazole, the vegetative organs of fungi die, and sporulation is inhibited. Fungi newly formed from spores are suppressed after two days. Thus, the entire colony is gradually exterminated.
Particularly good results are shown by the preventive treatment of crops with the fungicide Tilt. In the early stages of the development of a fungal infection, it is also possible to stop the further course of the disease when using the drug. The substance has a long shelf life. Propiconazole shows its activity within 20-35 days, depending on weather conditions.
Directivity
Propiconazole is the active ingredient of a fungicide that has a detrimental effect on several types of fungi. Fungicide Tilt is used for diseases:
- powdery mildew;
- Septoria or white spotting;
- rust;
- Fusarium;
- Anthracnose;
- Cercosporellosis;
- Rhinosporosis;
- Spotting and some other infections.
The drug is used to treat such crops:
- Cereals – wheat, rye, barley, oats;
- Forage grasses – clover, rump, fescue, ryegrass;
- Blackcurrants, gooseberries, grapes, cherries, apple trees;
- Essential oil plants – roses, peppermint;
- Technical – sugar beet, rapeseed;
- Vegetables – cucumbers, tomatoes.
Action speed
Getting rid of crops from diseases depends on the class of fungi. Powdery mildew pathogens die in 3-4 days. Septoria and other spotting are treated in 5 days. Rust-causing fungi are affected after 2-3 days.
Features of the drug
Fungicide Tilt has several specific properties.
- The active substance propiconazole spreads only through the greenery of plants, does not penetrate into the ears of cereal crops and fruits;
- The drug Tilt acts as a kind of growth stimulator. The fungicide not only suppresses various pathogenic strains, but reliably protects the culture for a month. Simultaneously with the cure of the plant, Tilt exhibits a positive growth-regulating effect;
- Under the influence of the fungicide, the intensity of photosynthesis of the flag leaves of winter wheat increases;
- The fungicide is resistant to rain if the fields have been treated even an hour before the rain. The freshly applied preparation remains on the plants if the rain lasts no more than an hour;
- Exposure to the substance may be reduced in prolonged cool and rainy weather.

Mode of application
In accordance with the instructions for the fungicide Tilt, prepare an aqueous solution of the drug.
- The suspension is slightly soluble in water and settles to the bottom. You need to take some filtered water and pour the drug. Then, stirring, gradually bring the solution to the required volume;
- The working solution must be prepared before spraying. It cannot be stored, but immediately used;
- Do not work with the drug if the wind blows at a speed greater than 5 m / s, the weather is hot – above 29 degrees, air humidity is below 60 percent;
- The second treatment is carried out after 25-30 days;
- To avoid manifestations of addiction, sometimes one treatment is carried out on a culture. The next one can be done a month later with another drug.
Consumption rates
It is necessary to strictly follow the instructions, because for different cultures the concentration of the drug varies. The rate of use also depends on the purpose of application: for preventive spraying or for treating diseased plants. Adhere to the general consumption rate: 500 ml of Tilt fungicide per hectare. An overdose causes oppression of the development of culture.
- For spraying infected plants, dissolve 10-4 ml of emulsion in 5 liters;
- In preparation for preventive treatment, as well as for soaking the seeds, they take only 2-3 ml;
- For cereals, the fungicide consumption is 0,05 ml per 1 sq. m, and the working solution – 20-30 ml per 1 sq. m;
- For forage grasses and other industrial and horticultural crops, the same indicator is used as for cereals, but for clover they take 0,1 ml per 1 sq. m, the volume of the working substance is the same;
- Slightly increase the rate of the working solution for rapeseed: 20-40 ml per 1 sq. m;
- The consumption rate of the drug for blackcurrant differs: 0,15 ml per 1 sq. m.
According to the instructions for using the Tilt fungicide for tomatoes, the solution is prepared in the same proportions. Spray evenly and gently. It is better to refrain from repeated use.
Toxicity
Fungicide Tilt is based on the substance propiconazole, which is moderately dangerous for animals and humans. Following the recommendations for the use of the drug, there is no risk of phytotoxicity. Tilt carries some danger to insects, so it should not be used during the mass summer of bees and near water bodies.
It is necessary to strictly monitor the timing of harvesting and do not apply fungicide before the crops ripen. The waiting period is 30 days for cereals, 40 days for vegetables, 66 days for rapeseed, and 73 days for gooseberries.
Safety Precautions
When working with Tilt, which belongs to the 3rd hazard class, personal protection must be observed. Cases of allergic reactions are possible. The skin, eyes, as well as the mouth and nose are protected by clothing, gloves, goggles, and a respirator. If work is to be done on the field after spraying with fungicide, wait at least 5 days.

The above crops, as well as orchards are treated with the drug for the prevention and control of coccomycosis, leaf curl, powdery mildew, scab, monilial fruit rot and other fungal diseases. The drug is popular among winegrowers, helps to cope with oidium. Applies to the entire spectrum of the above fungal diseases in the garden and in the garden. There are ampoules of 1 or 2 ml. Apply in accordance with safety requirements and standards. Vegetables can be processed 40 days before harvest.
Fungicide Tilt Turbo
Used for cereals in autumn or spring: the drug works effectively at a temperature of +6 degrees. The composition of the drug contains 125 g / l of propiconazole and 450 g / l of the fungicide fenpropidine. This substance is extremely important in the fight against powdery mildew. The requirements are identical, they spend 800 ml-1 l per 1 ha.
