Structure of the preparation
The fungicide is produced in the form of a concentrated microemulsion, which is sold in 5-liter canisters. For the drug, a system of substances was specially selected, with the help of which the particle size of the fungicide in the working fluid is less than 200 nanometers. This structure allows the drug to be more fully introduced into plant tissues. This fact explains its high protective activity.
The systemic fungicide Colosal Pro consists of two components: propiconazole and tebuconazole, combined in a proportion of 300 g / l: 200 g / l. Chemicals belong to the same class, inhibit different groups of fungi at the cell level and, in combination, represent an effective drug. Fungicide Colosal Pro protects cereals, peas, soybeans, rapeseed, sugar beets and grapes from common diseases.
Propiconazole and tebuconazole have a detrimental effect on pathogens. Propiconazole simultaneously inhibits the formation of spores and is a growth regulator for cereals, which contributes to their rapid recovery after infection. The substance acts on pathogens that cause powdery mildew. The action of tebuconazole is directed against fungi, causative agents of Fusarium, Alternaria, rust.
Mechanism of action
The active substances of Colosal Pro are absorbed by the plant at the cellular level and pass up the stem and leaves. The whole plant becomes protected from fungi 2-4 hours after the working solution hits the surface. The high rate of penetration of the fungicide into the tissues of crops and the uniform distribution of active ingredients throughout the plant creates a strong barrier to fungi.
Both fungicides in the Colosal Pro composition also show a preventive effect over a long period. Treated plants are protected for 25-35 days. Germinating introduced spores will be destroyed by active chemicals.
Spectrum of influence
In accordance with the instructions for the fungicide Colosal, the drug must be used against certain fungal infections on plants.

- Fields with cereals are sprayed in the growth stage, when the first symptoms of the disease are noticed;
- Sugar beets begin to process, noticing the spread of mycelium. The second treatment, if necessary, is carried out after one and a half or two weeks;
- The development of spring rapeseed is monitored especially closely in the phase of growing stems and the formation of pods of the lower tier, so as not to miss the possible onset of infection;
- Winter rapeseed is processed twice. The first spraying is carried out for prophylactic purposes in the fall, when 6-8 leaves develop on the plants. The second time, processing may be forced if a disease appears in the spring during the creation of pods in the lower tier;
- Kolosal Pro is used for soybeans and peas during the growth period;
- The fungicide will help the grapes recover before or after flowering, when forming small ovaries or berries the size of a pea.
Multiplicity of treatments
Given the effectiveness of the potent fungicide Colosal Pro, the instructions regulate the number of maximum treatments for different crops.
- Single spraying is carried out on spring and winter wheat, barley, other grain crops and spring rapeseed;
- Once or twice, guided by the need, a fungicide is used on crops of winter rapeseed, peas, soybeans, sugar beets;
- The grapes are allowed to be processed three to four times during the agreed stages of their development.

- All grains can be processed at least 38 days before harvest;
- The waiting period for grapes and sugar beets is 30 days;
- Peas and rapeseed can be harvested 40 days after processing.
Application
To work with the drug do not prepare the stock solution. The instructions for use of the Kolosal fungicide emphasize that the working solution is prepared immediately before spraying. The tank is filled halfway with water and the entire volume of the drug required for work is poured. While stirring, add water. It is necessary to mix the working solution during spraying to maintain uniformity. Use the entire volume of the prepared chemical. The solution must not be stored.
Kolosal Pro can be mixed with all herbicides and insecticides produced by August. Composing tank mixtures, the fungicide Kolosal is added to the tank last. Before using the mixture, you need to check it for compatibility, and also make sure that it is not phytotoxic to the crop that is going to be processed.
Consumption rates
For a hectare of grain crops, only 300 liters of the working solution of the Colosal Pro preparation are required. The instruction specifies that when processing peas and soybeans, 200-400 liters per hectare are required. The consumption of the working solution on grapes increases to 800 – 1000 l / ha.
The drug is effective against fungi, but it must be carefully applied in relation to the environment.
