I was distracted from an important matter (and now we do not mean the correct breathing), only to endure the most severe pain. The video camera in the ward of the woman in labor was also present, but not at all in order to film the path of her little daughter into our world, but to record for other mothers how easy it is to apply makeup between contractions.
Lee Ann moved to the United States from the Philippines. Out of great love, she married a young and successful lawyer. But even a husband rarely sees his wife without makeup. Lee Ann wakes up every day at 5 am, quietly slips out of the matrimonial bed and goes to “paint a face.” A young woman is most afraid of sweating or getting caught in the rain, because then her makeup may suffer.
– I don’t even smile once more, – honestly .
Without makeup, she feels completely naked. Lee Ann’s cosmetic bag contains a whole beauty salon. As it turned out, the manic desire to put on makeup did not appear out of nowhere. The young woman was too carried away by gazing at beauties on social networks. In the pictures, the faces of the models look perfect: velvety skin, a look with a drag from under fluffy eyelashes, the correct shape of the cheekbones, beckoning lips. Comparing herself to them, Lee Ann realized that she was losing to them with her natural beauty. And no spouse’s assurances that the wife looks great have no effect on her.
It is clear that my mother almost went to childbirth fully armed. Firstly, when she felt that the process was under way, she immediately tidied up her eyebrows, removed excess hairs, and corrected the bend.
“They should always be symmetrical and even,” the young woman insists.
Together with the traditional childbirth bag, the American woman’s husband took a bag with cosmetics and 20 special brushes, brushes and sponges to the hospital.
– I have to look perfect when welcoming my child to this world! – was adamant Lee Ann.

As a result, the makeup is beautiful. Everything is done by professional makeup artists. Primer, foundation, contour, eyeliner, eyeshadow, powder, blush, lipstick – just 14 steps to beauty. Mom almost started applying makeup at 4 am. She was wearing makeup, and her husband sat next to her and reassured her: “You look great, everything will be fine!”
The whole process, as we have already said, was filmed.
“I was interrupted only when the pain became unbearable,” Lee Ann justified.
The American woman posted this video so that other expectant mothers could also take care of themselves during childbirth. She is also going to show the video to her daughter Olivia.
“She must understand how important it is to look good in any situation,” the woman is sure. – Childbirth is a wonderful moment, the most natural in the world, and there is nothing wrong with wanting to look good.
