Fuligo putrefactive (Fuligo septica) is a fungus that is one of the types of slime molds. Belongs to the Fizarov family, belongs to the genus Fuligo.
External Description
The plasmodium of the fungus is characterized by a yellow color, but can sometimes be cream or white. Aetalia are cushion-shaped, solitary and are characterized by various colors (yellow, white, purple, rusty-orange). The diameter of the largest individuals is from 2 to 20 cm, and the thickness is up to 3 cm. The hypothallus can be multi-layered or single-layered. It is colorless or brownish. Spore powder is dark brown. Spores are spherical, small in size, with small spines.

The fungus can be found on decaying plant remains.
