Names of varieties of garden fuchsia
When choosing a garden variety of a flower, you need to pay special attention to its cold resistance. To date, many hybrid varieties have been bred that easily take root and grow on the street.
One of these varieties is “Sparkling Fuchsia”. The plant grows to a large size, up to 2 m in height, and blooms profusely from June to September. The leaves of the flower are quite long, up to 20 cm, and wide, up to 15 cm, with jagged edges. In place of the faded buds, tassels with berries are formed, which are suitable for human consumption.
Within 15–20 days after rooting, the planted garden plants bloom
Suitable for outdoor cultivation is the Trehlezniy variety. It does not grow more than 60 cm, it looks neat and compact. Small bouquets of red-orange flowers delight with their beauty until the very end of September.
In addition, the Margellanskaya variety is suitable for outdoor cultivation. It reaches 2,5-3 m in height and blooms profusely. It is able to survive the winter if it is previously cut and carefully covered.
Description of varieties of indoor fuchsia
For growing at home, varieties with small flowers are more often used. These include varieties such as:
- “Shining”. It grows in the form of a bush, the trunk of which becomes stiff during development and turns reddish-brown. The leaves are green throughout the year, flowering from June to November. The fruits formed on the shrub are suitable for human consumption.
- Bolivian. It grows exclusively in warm rooms. Abundant early flowering. May bloom as early as early March.
- “Graceful”. This variety fully lives up to its name. The flowers sloping downward seem to float in the air, since the thin thread-like pedicel is almost invisible. The color of the buds is red-violet, sometimes with a pink tint.
These varieties are only a small part of the variety on the flower market. Each grower can choose the right one for him.
Depending on the growing conditions, capabilities and preferences of the gardener, you can choose a suitable flower variety that will delight you with its appearance for a long period of time. An important condition when choosing a garden flower is its frost resistance.
