Fruko Schulz (Fruko Schulz) – absinthe description, brand varieties, price, reviews

Greetings, dear reader! Fruko-Schulz is a Czech company engaged in the production of alcoholic beverages. In the country, it ranks second in terms of alcohol production. Among its assortment, a special place is occupied by Fruko Schulz absinthe (named, of course, in honor of the manufacturer), a famous and beloved drink all over the world. That’s what we’re going to talk about today.

Historical background

The company producing this Fruko Schulz absinthe was founded back in 1898. It was at this time that absinthe gained great popularity in Europe, so the company started with its production.

For several decades, Fruko Schulz has grown from a small factory to a large-scale factory with its own traditional recipes. True, in the second half of the 1993th century, the company ceased to be private, as the Czech Republic turned onto the rails of the socialist state system. Only in XNUMX Fruko Schulz returned to private hands – to the heirs of its founder.

Despite such difficulties with nationalization, the company has not lost its position. Over its more than a century of history, it has become one of the largest producers of absinthe in the world: its products are exported to more than 20 countries around the world.

Production features

Absinthe is an herbal drink. It contains chamomile, fennel, anise, mint, lemon balm and other herbs. But its main component is an extract of bitter wormwood. It releases essential oils, due to which absinthe has a specific taste. It is worth noting that it is not wormwood itself that gets into the drink, but only trace amounts of it.

The drink also contains a large amount of thujone, and various companies around the world are constantly working on absinthe recipes in order to reduce the content of this not the most useful substance.

Characteristics of absinthe Fruko Schulz

Absinthe has the nickname “green witch” or “green fairy”. It received such a romantic name due to its characteristic green color (after all, it is a herbal drink) and the “enchanting” stunning effect on those who drink it. Intoxication from absinthe comes very quickly: almost like magic!

Color

Classic absinthe Fruko Schulz has a bright green color familiar to absinthe. It is so unusual that it even seems unnatural. However, the drink is completely natural and has no synthetic impurities, it gets its color due to a special technology for the production of alcohol from herbs.
