The name is translated from the language of the Chokwe people living in the Congo as “cheers”. The brand belongs to the Belgian company Huyghe.

The promotion of the line began in 1992 with the creation of the “Brotherhood of the Pink Elephant”. It set itself the task of popularizing the brand. The Belgian brewery Huyghe owns the rights.
It has a dark red color with pink tints. The foam is low. Harmonious sweet and sour taste with hints of hops. Delicate fruity aroma combines sour cherries and almonds.

The beer comes from a small town in Belgium. Belongs to the Huyghe enterprise. The two main ingredients are wheat beer and strawberry juice. In addition, coriander and orange zest are added. Heavily carbonated. In 2009, it received the status of “Best Fruit Beer” in the World Beer Awards.

Schöfferhofer grapefruit, 2,5%
The beer is very light. Half wheat beer, half grapefruit juice. Produced by the German brewery Schöfferhofer, owned by the Radeberger group. This particular type is the most popular among the entire line, as it is extremely pleasant to drink.
