Fruit Beer

It is made on the basis of any beer style by adding a variety of fruits. Moreover, the term “fruit” can mean any sweet and fragrant fruits, regardless of their botanical definition, including berries, vegetables, dried fruits, and herbs. The fruity balance should be in harmony with the malt and hops, not drowning them out, but complementing them.

Depending on the fruits used, the aroma can be more or less fruity, and the same goes for the taste. Additional notes, flavors, shades, finish and other characteristics depend on the base beer, although thanks to the additional fermented sugar, the drink is slightly drier than before the “upgrade”.

The color depends on the base and the fruit used, usually a clear beer with colored foam. On the tongue it feels quite light-bodied, with the addition of dark fruits – tannic.

Density, strength and other characteristics depend on the base.
