Greenhouse mushrooms have become so popular that they are widely used in various dishes, both fresh and frozen. The latter, in some way, even simplify life for housewives, eliminating the need to wash and cut them. Moreover, the taste of such mushrooms is in no way inferior to those just picked.

How to cook frozen mushrooms

Soup with frozen mushrooms

In order to cook the soup, take: – 400 g of frozen mushrooms; – 1 liter of chicken broth; – 1 onion; – 1 carrot; – 3 potatoes; – 200 g of 10% cream; – salt to taste; – vegetable oil; – some dill greens.

Fry the mushrooms in a little oil until the liquid evaporates completely. Chop the carrots and onions into pieces and add them to the mushrooms, trying to fry them until golden brown. Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes, set them to boil in chicken broth. After a quarter of an hour, add overcooked vegetables to the pan and cook the soup until tender, then grind it with a blender until smooth, add cream to it and bring to a boil again. Serve the puree soup to the table, garnish with dill herbs.

Before cooking frozen champignons, do not remove them from the freezer in advance, since the mushrooms do not need preliminary defrosting.

Champignons with chicken hearts

For a frozen mushroom dish, try baking them with chicken hearts. To do this, take: – 350 g of hearts; – 350 g of mushrooms; – 1 onion; – 150 g of sour cream; – 70 g of hard cheese; – 15 g of vegetable oil; – salt, pepper.

Fry frozen chopped mushrooms together with pre-chopped onions, mix with separately fried hearts, sour cream and spices. Spread the resulting mass in portioned pots or cocotte makers, sprinkle them with cheese on top and bake in a hot oven for a quarter of an hour. Since the hearts were already fried before, this time is enough for them to be stewed until cooked.

Fried potatoes with mushrooms

To prepare it, take: – 400 g of frozen mushrooms; – 1 kg of potatoes; – 1 head of onion; – a couple of garlic cloves; – salt; – vegetable oil.

Cut the onion into thin rings, fry them together with the mushrooms in oil until the excess liquid evaporates from them. Add potato wedges to the pan and try to fry them so that a crust forms on all sides, stirring occasionally. Put the garlic, passing through a press, five minutes before turning off the heat, stirring the potatoes with it.

When looking for recipes with frozen mushrooms, try them as an addition to delicious sauces. The latter go especially well with pasta. To prepare such a sauce, take: – 300 g of frozen mushrooms; – 100 g of sour cream; – 1 onion; – 1 tbsp. l. flour; – salt; – vegetable oil.

Chop the onion and fry it with the mushrooms until tender. Stir the sour cream with flour and salt, add to the mushrooms, bring to a boil and cook the sauce until it thickens, stirring constantly.
