Fonts made of concrete
The most reliable and frost-resistant option for giving is a stationary concrete pool. The owner individually calculates the dimensions, shape, depth of the bowl. The disadvantage is the complexity of the construction, but the concrete structure, subject to the installation technology, will last for many years.

The production of a concrete structure consists of the following steps:
- work begins with the drafting of the project;
- after planning the site, they dig a pit, in the amount of which the thickness of the concrete walls of the bowl is taken into account;
- the bottom is covered with a cushion of crushed stone with sand 35 cm thick;
- after tamping the pillow, a layer of concrete 10 cm thick is poured;
- the frozen reinforced concrete slab is treated with bitumen, a reinforcing frame is laid, and a finishing layer of high-quality concrete is poured on top, which serves as the bottom of the pool;
- for concreting walls, wooden formwork is assembled, a reinforced frame is installed around the perimeter;
- pouring the solution is carried out at a time to get a monolithic structure.
The concrete bowl dries out for at least a month. After removing the formwork, they proceed to fine finishing and installation of equipment.
acrylic bowls
A new type of frost-resistant pools – acrylic bowls. Manufacturing technology is similar to bathtubs. The big difference is the size. Proof of frost resistance is the fact that acrylic is used in shipbuilding. Installing a font is no different from installing a plastic container. For the bowl, they dig a pit, concrete the bottom and side walls.
Most often, acrylic fonts are installed in public places, but nothing prevents you from acquiring a modern product in the country. Among the advantages are the following characteristics:

The disadvantage is the special preparation of the pool for wintering. The font is filled with 2/3 of the volume of water with the addition of reagents for preservation. If the preparation technology is violated, frozen water will crack the acrylic container.
Features of conservation for the winter of a frame pool
At the end of the summer season, you should not delay the preparation of the frame pool for wintering. Frosts can come unexpectedly and damage the bowl of equipment left with water. Preparation for wintering includes the following actions:
- First, clean the water with disinfectants. Chlorine-based preparations are mainly used.
