Anastasia Petrova, 36, the chief editor of Delovoy Interest and a mother of two, became the second victim of the coronavirus in Perm. The girl died on March 31 in the hospital, which she was admitted to due to suspicion of COVID-19.

Anastasia said that she had contact with people who flew in from Europe, but only after they had gone through a 14-day quarantine.

Petrova did not understand where she could get infected, and in social networks she talked about how she felt. Judging by her posts, the first symptoms of the disease appeared just a week before her death – on March 23rd.

The very next day, the journalist became sharply ill and was hospitalized with a diagnosis of pneumonia.

Anastasia did not lose her mood and spoke with enthusiasm about the doctors who were constantly with her. They took two tests for coronavirus from the girl: the first one raised questions from specialists, so the second one was sent to the Novosibirsk “Vector”.

The girl stopped writing posts about her health and how her hospitalization is going, but in the comments she replied to the subscriber that both tests for coronavirus were negative.

On the 31st, the news of the death of Petrova appeared, which was confirmed by the Ministry of Health of the Perm Territory.

And soon there was a screenshot of Anastasia’s correspondence with her friend on March 29, which shows that Petrova said in plain text about a positive test for COVID-19.

On April 2, it became known that the girl had serious health problems – third degree obesity and SARS. Autopsy revealed plethora of internal organs, indirect signs of a septic process, disseminated intravascular coagulation syndrome and infiltration in the lungs.

“She most likely had multiple disorders of the endocrine system, could have a metabolic syndrome, there could be gross violations of hormones, sex hormones, adrenal glands. Obesity is considered a risk factor for coronavirus infection, ”the doctors said and noted that the main cause of Anastasia’s death was coronavirus pneumonia with ended sepsis.
