Fried pollock: video recipe

Korean cuisine in Russia is known mainly for snacks – fish heh, Korean carrots and others. However, this cuisine is much more varied. Since Korea is located on a peninsula, fish dishes such as fried pollock are very popular in this country.

You will need: – 500 g of pollock fillet; – 2 ripe kiwi; – 1,5 tbsp. round grain rice; – 2 tbsp. soy sauce; – 2 tbsp. sesame seeds; – 2-3 cloves of garlic; – 2 tsp. sesame oil; – 2 tsp. olive oil 1/4 green chili salt and freshly ground black pepper

Wash pollock fillets, defrost if necessary and cut into 4 pieces. Peel and chop the garlic, remove the seeds from the chili pepper and finely chop the pulp. Combine garlic, chili, soy sauce, sesame seeds and sesame oil and season with salt. Dip the fish in this marinade. Heat the olive oil in a skillet and fry the pollock fillets for 3-4 minutes on each side. Peel and slice the kiwi. Add the fruit to the fish and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Boil rice separately in salted water and serve as a side dish with fish.

You can also add a little lemon juice to the marinade.

Bibimbap with fried pollock

Bibimbap is a dish that includes rice, meat or fish ingredients and vegetables. In the proposed recipe, the base of bibimbap is served in fried pollock, carrots and green beans.

You will need: – 250 g of pollock fillet; – 7 tbsp. sesame oil; – 1 tbsp. sugar; – 2 tbsp. soy sauce; – a pinch of salt; – 2-3 cloves of garlic; – 1 tsp. grated ginger root; – 1 carrot; – 60 g spinach; – 50 g green beans; – 1 onion; – 2 tbsp. olive oil – 2 tsp sesame seeds; – 2 eggs; – 1,5 tbsp of round grain rice; – 1 tbsp. Tabasco sauce.

You can also add young soy shoots to the dish.

Rinse the rice in several waters, pour into a saucepan, fill with water so that it covers the cereal by 2 fingers and cook for 15-20 minutes. The rice should be soft and sticky. Hard-boiled eggs and cut into halves.

Prepare the fish marinade. To do this, mix 2 tbsp. sesame oil, sugar, soy sauce and ginger, add a pinch of salt and finely chopped garlic, peeled. Wash the fish, cut into cubes and mix with the marinade. Leave in a cool place for half an hour. Boil the spinach in boiling water for a minute, then cook the green beans in the same way. Pour vegetables over 1 tbsp. sesame oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Peel the carrots and cut into semicircles. Heat 2 tablespoons in a skillet. olive oil and sauté the carrots in it. Then cook pollock in the same pan, adding finely chopped onion. Divide the rice into bowls, on top of it place a serving of fish and some of each vegetable, and half an egg each. Combine the remaining sesame oil with the tabasco and pour the sauce over the finished dish.
