By genre, this is a meticulous, good-tasting biopic, that is, a biopic. And here the founder of psychoanalysis, Dr. Freud, turns out to be the main patient of Dr. Freud.
By genre, this is a meticulous, good-tasting biopic, that is, a biopic. And here the founder of psychoanalysis, Dr. Freud, turns out to be the main patient of Dr. Freud. He invented psychoanalysis in order to get rid of his own phobias and complexes, and the plot is built around his relationship with his daughter Anna. The role of Freud was played by the favorite of TV viewers all over the world, David Suchet, a Briton with Odessa roots, better known as Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot. Only Freud was filmed five years earlier, in 1984.
