Fresh ideas for school lunch box

On the eve of the new school year, the topic of school lunches becomes relevant for parents. It is important that a snack taken from home is complete and provides the child with the necessary strength to continue the educational process. At the same time, lunch should be convenient and tasty. What can you cook for your child?

Vegetables, grapes, nuts

This snack will help the brain to concentrate on the eve of an important test or test, and will cheer up on a cloudy day. Prepare small cherry tomatoes, steamed broccoli, and for dessert, add a few grapes and seasonal nuts – walnuts, almonds, pine nuts.

Brown rice, steamed vegetables, meatballs

If your child has additional sections or circles after school, and there is no time to go home to eat, then these days lunch should be more satisfying. Boil brown rice – a source of long carbohydrates, add steamed vegetables and a source of protein – steamed meat or fish cutlets.

 

Banana, sandwich, tomatoes, herbs

Chicken nuggets, pita, vegetable sticks

Nuggets are children’s favorite form of meat consumption. They are easy to prepare, and can also be stored in the freezer for a quick roast in the morning. Add carbohydrates to the source of protein in the form of bread or pita, in which you can wrap fruits – pieces of pear with honey, an apple. Do not forget about vegetable sticks – in this serving, children are more willing to feast on vegetables.
