On Monday, the provisions on the methods of preventing seasonal influenza in the 2021/2022 season were published in the Journal of Laws.
According to the new regulations from Tuesday people who are 18 years of age at the latest on the day of vaccination (approx. 30 million people) will be able to get vaccinated free of charge at existing vaccination centers. There are about 3 of them.

«The current vaccination status of the general population (18 – 0,5 years old) by November 100 speaks in favor of taking preventive measures and the use of the accumulated strategic reserves by changing the eligible group to persons who are 5 years of age at the latest on the day of vaccination. 2021 estimated at 1 million people »- stated in the regulatory impact assessment.

So far, the vaccine has been reimbursed to 13 groups of people indicated for vaccination due to exposure in a special way to infection with the virus of this disease as a result of their professional duties (including persons employed in health care entities, nurseries, educational institutions), due to their place of stay (nursing homes). social, care and treatment facilities, hospices, long-term care units) or age (people over 75).
