Frankenstein squats (squat with arms extended) — technique exercises:
- This exercise allows to practice the correct position of the neck and torso during deep squats.
- Place the barbell on the front part of the shoulders, as shown in the figure. Stretch your arms forward. The shoulders are kept forward, the neck touches the neck. Do not round back, simply dilute the blades.
- Perform a squat by bending the knees and spreading them around. Keep your body straight, arms and shoulders forward, the neck stays in place. Squat until the back of the thighs touch the calves.
- Return to starting position, straightening the legs.
