France sits at the table

Sharing, enjoying and respect are the values that French cuisine transmit to us, now also in our restaurants

For yet another year, the Goût de – Good France gastronomic event reaches our country as well as the five continents in an explosion of talent, creative cuisine and good taste as a tribute to French gastronomy.

The day chosen to start the activities is March 21, coinciding with the emblematic date of being the first day of spring, the most culinary season for its awakening of the raw material, source and origin of the kitchen.

The restaurants participating in the gastronomic days, surrender to the excellence of one of the best cuisines in the world, the French, ambassador and school of many culinary masters.

In each of them, a particular tribute will be made in the form of a dinner to contribute to the values exported by French cuisine, enjoyment and shared health.

The participating chefs do not renounce their culinary principles or their techniques, they will simply seek the fusion of their cuisine to combine it with the French.

A very original way to taste France

To speak of cuisine in many cases is to speak of France, and proof of this is the figure of the emblematic Chef Alain Ducasse, a key figure to understand this culinary encounter worldwide.

As in previous editions of Goût de France, thousands of chefs from the five continents celebrate an original and creative ode to French gastronomy.

This proposal has its precedent, not 3 years ago when the Goût de France journey began, more than 100 years ago, in 1912, Auguste Escoffier launched the first Dinners of Epicurus, which consisted of preparing the same menu, on the same day, and all this in various cities around the world and for the largest number of diners.

Now in the XNUMXst century, the current proposal is based on that beautiful idea of associating all categories of restaurants around the world, but with the particularity of leaving each hospitality establishment to develop your special choice of dishes, as long as they are within what we know as French cuisine.

La “French gastronomic food”, is part of the Intangible Heritage of UNESCO and is one of the main values on which the event is based, together with the participation of various entities of the French government, such as its embassies around the world, and the French tourism brand , which helps to spread and disseminate its content, to defend the pride of the colors of French cuisine.

Two very culinary entities, the Royal Academy of Gastronomy and the Association of chefs FACYRE They are part of the promoters of this initiative, collaborating with the French organization of the event to bring Galas culinary excellence to our rooms.

Other media and professionals in the dissemination of gastronomic content such as Repsol guide o Victor de La Serna They have proposed that we try French cuisine in one of the more than 50 restaurants that throughout our geography, aim to turn their kitchens into French culinary temples for a few days.

On the website of the French embassy, we can see the different links that have been created to unite the Spanish and French gastronomies and the details of the participating restaurants.
