Description:
The cap is small, 3-6 cm in diameter, convex at first, later concave, with a lowered, sometimes wavy edge, thin-fleshed, yellowish-gray, grayish or pale ocher, pale yellow.
The plates are narrow, descending, whitish, with age – gray-brownish.
Spore powder is white.
The leg is thin, 3-5 cm long and 0,5-1 cm in diameter, cylindrical, solid, pubescent at the base, yellowish-gray, one-color with a hat.
The pulp is thin, brittle, watery, with a strong smell of anise, whitish.
Spread:
Lives from early September to early October in coniferous and mixed forests, in groups, rarely.
The similarity:
It is similar to the anise govorushka, from which it differs in the yellowish color of the cap.
Evaluation:
little known edible mushroom, eaten fresh (boil for about 10 minutes) or marinated
