Quadruplets were born in Wrocław
– Such a case happens once every hundred tens of thousands of pregnancies – says Maciej Andryszczak, president of the Sonokard clinic, in an interview with Gazeta Wyborcza.
– Normally pregnancy lasts 38 to 42 weeks. But in such cases, the pregnancy is terminated by caesarean section. In this case, week 30. These children are such little leprechauns. Immediately after birth, each child is taken over by a team of neonatologists. It immediately goes to the incubator – explains the president.

Already from the preliminary ultrasound examinations it was clear that this was a multiple pregnancy, but initially, the medics saw “only” three identical twins. Only after the fourth examination, it turned out that there are as many as four boys. Therefore, the pregnancy was conducted by two experienced doctors. Ultimately, the children were born on Monday.
