The “ladder” model with 2 – 3 rungs forming a shelf at the top of the device is popular. It is convenient to store already dried things there so that they are warm by the time they are needed. The advantages are mobility and high efficiency. Cons – large dimensions and energy costs.
U, M and E shapes
U shape this is a single-bent pipe connected by its ends to a heat main. Pros – simplicity and cheapness. Cons – low heat transfer and lack of space for towels. Such units are suitable only for installation in the bathroom of an apartment where a maximum of one or two people live.
Form M this is a good old “snake” in a modern version. Pros and cons – the same as the “Snake”, they remained unchanged.
E-shaped the heated towel rail is often referred to as “Foxtrot”. Imagine the same model M, but surrounded by an additional “fox trail” of a larger diameter pipe. This one has all the advantages of types E and U, combined in one device. But there is also a minus: the price is also summed up.
