Format Painter in Excel

Sample format – an Excel tool that is used quite rarely. But in vain. Format Painter copies the formatting of one piece in a document and applies it to another.

1. For example, select a cell V2.
2. On the Advanced tab Home (Home) in a group clipboard (Clipboard) click on the button Format Painter (Format according to the sample).
3. Highlight a cell D2.

Result:

Note: In this example Sample format applies to cell D2 currency format, background color and cell border B2. It saves time! Double click on the button Format Painter (Format Painter) to apply the same formatting to multiple cells.
